I worked at a practicum site for 2 years, Brehm Preparatory school, that is a residential school for high functioning, middle through high school children and young adults with ADHD or LD and coexisting anxiety or depression. During my PhD I received the mentorship of Dr. Michelle Y. Pre and Post Doctoral Internships

I worked with children and young adults with multiple, complex emotional and behavioral challenges (anxiety, depression, PTSD, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). I worked in NYC as well as Hartford, CT. As a requirement for the PhD and the state licensing steps psychologists go through competitive application processes and at least 2 years of pre and post doctoral internships. I completed the pre doc. internship at the Village for Families and Children, in Hartford, CT. I also received training in Trauma Focused-CBT during this time. Moreover, I received advanced training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) for adults during my post doc. year at the University of Maine, Orono.

Work Experience in medical setting

Before transitioning to private practice I worked as a psychologist and faculty member at Kadlec Family Medicine Residency Program and as Clinical Instructor at the University of Washington School of Medicine. I have extensive, collaborative and supervisory experience with physicians in this outpatient setting. During this time I also completed the Behavioral Sleep Medicine Fellowship and Training in CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I), at the Perelman School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry, University of Pennsylvania. I was the lead investigator for a public health outcome funded project to help integrate behavior health in the primary care (IBH-PC) setting during this time. Additionally, I helped the Residency clinic develop an assessment protocol for screening adult ADHD in the setting.
